natural and cultural heritage preservation
EC bets for cultural and natural heritage preservation to improve rural and non commercial communities life quality. Our projects aim to build the foundations for sustainable economic activities based on culture.

Traditions, customs, ancient techniques, natural methods and even parts of history are being forgotten and disappearing all around the world. This happens in rural and non commercial communities in particular, where oral tradition is still one of the main ways to transmit know how, where elderly generations disappear without having passed their cultural knowledge to the new generations, where technology arrives but is not put into good use.

The Equitable Museum project consists in making cultural, historic and environment content accessible to everyone, everywhere in a community thanks to digitalization. It aims to preserve and share a maximum of cultural and natural heritage content. Our dream is to connect as many villages, cities and countries as possible via an alternative touristic route. The Equitable Museum has started as a prototype with the use of QR codes and an offline virtual library and will end up in the developement of a free app.
EQUITABLE MUSEUM
STEP1
1. DATA COLLECTION AND DIGITALIZATION
We collect data related to history, customs, traditions and natural resources with the help of local people from different communities. Then, we digitalize it so we can storage it and preverse the cultural content through scaned documents, videos, audios, interviews, articles...
STEP2
2. CONTENT SHARING
Locally, through the use of QR codes in strategic places of the communities and through an offline virtual library. Globally, through and app and a wiki that we are creating with the help of our technological partners. The objective is to democratize the access to information.
STEP3
3. TRAINING AND SENSITIZATION
Through workshops and meetings, this step is crucial to make local people autonomous on preserving their own cultural content and to make them aware of the potential and the fragility of their environment.
STEP4
4. IMPLEMENTATION OF CULTURAL ROUTES
By connecting the content of multiple communities through an app, the objective of this step is to make the promotion of cultural routes so that it will be easier for alternative tourists to discover and contact with authentic traditional communities while helping to the local economy.
